Daily Test Structure

Based on the official schedule, each test session is split across 2 days with a consistent structure (times in WIB/UTC+7):

  • Day 1: Professional Chinese (90 minutes), then Mathematics (60 minutes)
  • Day 2: Physics (60 minutes), then Chemistry (60 minutes)

Exact start times vary between sessions (some are morning, some afternoon) — make sure to check the official time for your registered session directly on csca.cn once registration opens, since the time slot can affect your exam-day strategy.

Why This Matters for You

If you’re targeting the November 14–15, 2026 session, the effective preparation time left since this schedule was released is under 2 months. That’s not a long runway to cover 3 science subjects plus the academic Mandarin component — especially if you haven’t started serious CSCA-style practice yet.

If the November session feels too tight for your situation, the December 2026 or January 2027 sessions are still realistically achievable — but don’t wait for the registration date to be announced before you start studying. Concept prep and practice questions can (and should) start now, regardless of when official registration opens.

CSCA Gateway has a bank of real exam-pattern questions for Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, complete with trilingual explanations (Mandarin, Pinyin, English) — useful for filling whatever time you have left before your chosen test session.
